This page shows display grade specimens of the minerals commonly found in Nenthead mines or in the surrounding areas. There is a another set of research grade specimens that can be viewed separately by arrangement.
The specimens are simply listed in alphabetical order. The first mentioned is the main mineral, or the most interesting example displayed, when two or more are present.

The format, “NMCS 71”, is short for “Nenthead Mines Conservation Society mineral collection item number 71”.
